Back in 1980 Cod Steaks starting out as a small model making company based in Bristol. Cod Steaks evolved and grew, building the sets and models for several Aardman Animations feature films and commercials. Cod Steaks has now become the foremost Creation Agency in the UK leading the way in championing extraordinary design within the built world.

We still operate in Bristol from our own fully equipped workshops which is alive with activity. With fifteen manufacturing departments housed, we have the talent to tackle projects of any scale.

We offer Design and Project Management, 3D Scanning, Graphic Design, Engineering, Electronics,  Joinery, Metal work, Textiles, Model Making, CNC, GRP, Vac-Forming and Polyurea Spraying.

Our team have produced over 2000 ventures for Animation, Film, Museums, Exhibitions, Brand Centres, Retail, Immersive Attractions, Science Centres, Aquariums, Zoos and Art installations which is ever expanding into experience and immersion.

We work internationally and are recognised for our distinctive creative approach and exceptional aptitude when working with the World’s leading brands. 

Our installations are visited by over 100 million visitors per year. We’ve created engaging museum interactives and exhibits, created some of the most detailed animation sets and models bringing films to life. With our theming, we have turned retail stores into top visitor experiences.
