Harry potter Harajuku

On August 14, 2025, Warner Bros. unveiled its second Harry Potter flagship store in Tokyo. The store design has been developed by Warner Bros. and Lumsden Design, drawing inspiration from the Forbidden Forest to provide visitors with an immersive experience within the enchanting world of Harry Potter, while harmonising with the lush surroundings of its location in Harajuku.

Cod Steaks were commissioned to create various props and thematic elements, including towering trees, castle walls, Buckbeak the Hippogriff, and soaring owls, as well as other "easter egg" props that capture the essence of well-known characters and objects in the franchise. 

We worked closely with Technically Creative to enhance the props by integrating AV elements into various features, such as the bubbling butterbeer pipes and the impressive animated storefront. This seamless blend of creativity and technology benefits in bringing the store and magic of the Wizarding World to life.

Teaming up with Warner Bros. has always been a privilege, and we are truly delighted to play a part in the creation of yet another stunning retail space.
