The Norwegian children's museum

The Norwegian Children’s Museum is one of a handful of museums in Europe dedicated to the changing cultural history of children and childhood. The Museum evokes nostalgia and the recollection of an adult’s childhood, whilst allowing children to participate, investigate and play.

We were involved in much of the exhibit’s displays. However our major contributions consisted of: a replica ‘Tomte’ Mercedes 190, scaled so as to allow the access and play of young children, a display cabinet, structurally placed within two life sized replica trees, a fold out story book dolls house, an interactive car garage which allowed the movement and placement of vehicles and a 10ft replica of the world famous ‘Anne’ doll.
